Each month we bring you the latest in what is happening with Planned Parenthood. Once in a while, PP does something that requires your immediate attention. PP did just such a thing over the weekend

Planned Parenthood Golden Gate in San Francisco, California posted on its website this weekend an animated short that depicts their "Superhero for Choice" engaging in the following activities:

  1. Depicting an abstinence educator as a sleazy character and drowning him in a garbage can full of water - the PP Superhero actually holds down the lid while the educator dies.
  2. Depicting peaceful pro-life demonstrators as zombies proclaiming Christian slogans in front of a PP facility. The PP Superhero shoots them all with a "condom" gun that wraps each demonstrator in a full-body condom and then explodes - killing the demonstrators.
  3. Depicting members of Congress who disagree with Planned Parenthood as narcissists possessing the "stench of misinformed conservatism." The PP Superhero immerses the member of Congress into a boiling pot and he emerges naked and espousing PP's philosophies. As he runs off the headline proclaims "Planned Parenthood Wins Again!!!"
  4. Decapitating a pro-life demonstrator with a flying condom.

As a note of interest, the main character in the animated short is called "Dian" and is referred to as "Dianysis" when she turns into the Superhero. The president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Golden Gate is Dian Harrison. It is obvious then, that the animated short depicts a character based on the president and CEO of PPGG killing pro-lifers and being happy about it.

This is an absolutely outrageous promotion of violence. It can be viewed on Planned Parenthood Golden Gate's web site at www.ppgg.org.

We call on all Stoppers to issue local press releases decrying this promotion of violence by Planned Parenthood. Here is a link to a press release issued by our offices. You are free to use all or part of this when doing your own releases.
