Planned Parenthood targeting college youth
A major part of Planned Parenthood's efforts to spread the culture of death is to form pro-Planned Parenthood groups on college campuses. The intent of these groups is to get college students to accept and support the sexual lifestyle so admired by PP.
Although the campus groups go by many names, the entire effort is called VOX. According to PP: Vox is the Latin word for 'voice' and Vox 'Voices for Planned Parenthood' is a nationwide program to energize and mobilize the new generation of pro-choice Americans. Vox aims to educate and inspire a new generation of young adults to advocate reproductive freedom.
According to Planned Parenthood data, it currently has 212 VOX groups operating on 211 campuses (the University of Pittsburgh has two groups) in 37 states and the District of Columbia. PP says the following states do not have any VOX groups at the present time:
Arkansas
Iowa
Maine
Minnesota
Mississippi
Nevada
New Hampshire
New Mexico
North Dakota
Oklahoma
Rhode Island
Vermont
West Virginia
In order to fight Planned Parenthood, we need to counter its message on college campuses. If you live in one of the 37 states that have Planned Parenthood on campus, we encourage you to actively fight its influence. For a list of the campuses in your state, send an e-mail to STOPP@ALL.org. Be sure to tell us what state you are in so we can send you the correct list.
FDA seeking comments from you
The Food and Drug Administration has issued new guidelines for the pharmaceutical industry regarding the use of cell lines that are being used and will be used in the future for the manufacture of vaccines. These cell lines include several ethical sources as well as aborted fetal cell lines.
Since the FDA has invited the general public to respond through December 28, we are urging all concerned citizens, medical professionals, pharmacists and pro-life groups to let your voices be heard. It is imperative that the FDA receives a massive amount of public protest on the use of aborted fetal cell lines as your response may very well dictate the direction pharmaceutical companies will move in the future.
To find out more about this and how to submit your comments, please go the web site of American Life League's associate group, Children of God for Life.

Request for help in Austin, Texas
Most of you are aware of the long struggle against Planned Parenthood in Austin, Texas. Over the last couple of years Chris Danze has led a fight against a new Planned Parenthood complex in that city. Chris organized a contractor's boycott that was very effective and held up the first phase of the complex building for almost a year. Unfortunately, one local cement contractor broke the boycott and Planned Parenthood was able to construct the first phase of its project--the abortion mill. The second phase was put on hold for a long time, but has now begun.
Chris is asking for help in fighting this. He writes:
Construction on this phase began two weeks ago. Subcontractors and vendors are being identified. If you would like to help resist the construction of this phase of the multi-million dollar abortion complex, please contact the vendors and respectfully ask them to refrain from helping Planned Parenthood promote promiscuity and kill children. Please inform them that many people, particularly churches, prefer to do business with vendors and suppliers who do not help Planned Parenthood and their hired serial killers. Please inform them that their participation will be documented and disseminated locally and nationwide. Our goal is to stop the project, slow it down and make it more expensive.
The portable toilet vendor has been identified. Capital Chem Can. Click here for contact information. Please call and ask to speak to the owner or manager and let them know you oppose their involvement. Please be civil and courteous.
Kansas: Planned Parenthood's victory may become a loss
Led by the investigative work of Mark Crutcher at Life Dynamics, people across the country have become outraged at Planned Parenthood's apparent protection of child predators. Mark found that not only is Planned Parenthood apparently not reporting incidents of suspected child sexual abuse among its customers, but in many cases it is coaching young girls on how to keep the abuse quiet.
Although this is happening all across the United States, one brave attorney general, Phill Kline of Kansas, had the courage to take on Planned Parenthood. For several years he has been fighting to get Planned Parenthood's customer records to determine if they substantiate the charges. Planned Parenthood has been aggressively fighting Kline in the courts and launched an effort to get him voted out of office in the 2006 elections.
On election night, Planned Parenthood celebrated as Paul Morrison won the vote and will replace Kline in January. Since Morrison made the Planned Parenthood case a campaign issue, it is widely believed that he will not pursue the case against Planned Parenthood--despite the fact that Kline won the court cases and was granted access to Planned Parenthood's records.
Now here comes the twist.
Morrison was the district attorney of Johnson County, Kansas. He was elected to that office as a Republican. In order to challenge Kline, he switched parties, ran as a Democrat and defeated Kline. Obviously, Morrison's victory created a vacancy in the district attorney position. Since Morrison was elected to the district attorney post as a Republican, the Republicans got to choose who will fill the office until the next election. Last week, the Republicans did just that and selected, as the new district attorney in Johnson County, Phill Kline.
Since Planned Parenthood operates in Johnson County, there is much hope that Kline will continue his investigation of Planned Parenthood's alleged protection of child predators and will prosecute any offenses that are found.
Praise God for this turn of events. We'll keep you posted as things develop.
Merry Christmas
On behalf of the entire staff of American Life League, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior this coming weekend, may you experience joy and peace, knowing that your efforts are helping to save the lives of the heavenly Father's little ones.
This time of year always brings to mind the thought: "When God wants something done, he sends a child, and waits."
God wanted to save the human race, so he sent Jesus as a child and waited.
God also sent each of you for a specific purpose and your active involvement in the effort to defeat Planned Parenthood and save babies lives is a fulfillment of that purpose.
Merry Christmas!
