Planned Parenthood proudly displays blasphemous image

Many of you may remember an article Jim Sedlak wrote in January that gave an in-depth look into Planned Parenthood's anti-Christian actions. Some of the offensive materials mentioned included mockery of the birth of Christ in PP's Christmas cards and photo manipulations of images from the Sistine chapel advocating condom use. Despite these offenses, Planned Parenthood still tries to insist that it is in line with the teachings of mainline religions and continually seeks to gain support from churches in the communities in which its facilities are located.

As horrible as some of these products and actions are, it continues to get worse. The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood posted an image on its Myspace profile that mocks the very core beliefs of Christianity. The image displayed features a naked woman crucified to a giant female reproductive tract mocking the sacrifice of Jesus. In addition the artist included rays surrounding the crucified woman similar to those seen on the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This picture that mocks both our Lord and our Lady is displayed prominently by Planned Parenthood.

According to the terms of MySpace this image violates at least two of the items on the list of content that is illegal or prohibited to post through MySpace services, as it "is patently offensive and promotes racism, bigotry, hatred" and, "contains nudity, violence or offensive subject matter."

Please write MySpace and demand that this image be immediately removed and that Virginia League for Planned Parenthood face disciplinary action for posting something so offensive. To contact MySpace simply click here.

Also please educate the religious leaders in your community about the anti-religious activities of Planned Parenthood. It is important that the members of your community not believe PP's lies that it is compatible with moral and religious views.

Planned Parenthood continues trend of perversion on Colorado campus

Last week Planned Parenthood's VOX college group hosted a "sex fair" on the campus of Colorado State University. An article in the school's newspaper, The Collegian, explained that the fair featured a "throng of tables covered in condoms, candy and other 'bedroom fare." In addition the article explained that "Self-defense was also emphasized as an important aspect of safer sex." Almost ironically, the very next sentence noted that "Whips and handcuffs adorned the table of Doctor John's sex shop." Planned Parenthood's VOX college group seems to think that there are no adverse effects of endorsing deviant and violent sexual acts.

Without getting into too much detail, while phallic "sex toys" were being given out as door prizes, The Collegian remarks that "they were the most conventional of sex toys" presented at the fair.

Planned Parenthood's "sex fair" was strategically presented the week before the school's spring break. The web site for The Collegian features a poll for students that asks, "What do you hope to experience most on spring break?" More than half of the students who replied said they were hoping to have sex. Based on its continued promotion of perversion and sexual deviancy it is no secret that to Planned Parenthood sex ed programs are marketing programs. In the case of pushing its disordered idea of sexuality on the students of CSU, the polls clearly show the fruits of this notion of "sex ed."

If you are a student or alumni of Colorado State University please write the administration and politely insist that the school not endorse the depraved action of Planned Parenthood's VOX program any longer. If you are a prospective Colorado State student, or parent of one, inform the administration of your outrage over this perversion and courteously let them know that you want to attend a school free of Planned Parenthood's influence. Larry Penley, the president of CSU, may be reached by e-mail or by phone at 970-491-6211.

Finally, if you attend a college or university, or if there is one in your community, please contact us to find out how you can fight Planned Parenthood's advances on college campus.

Planned Parenthood president to answer public questions

On March 20 Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, is going to answer questions submitted by the public regarding PP and its role in pushing and dispensing the so-called "emergency contraception."

According to an article posted on Planned Parenthood's web site, to submit a question you must be a member of a web site called gather.com; but Richards is open to answer any questions submitted.

Only two days after this article was posted there are already several responses both in support of and in opposition to Planned Parenthood. We encourage our readers to submit questions to this forum. This way, Planned Parenthood's president will be forced to answer some of the pressing questions about the evil work PP does in spreading contraception and the culture of death.

What Planned Parenthood doesn't want you to know about EC

Throughout its web sites and literature, Planned Parenthood frequently mentions that so-called emergency contraception does not cause an abortion. Don't believe this lie.

According to Planned Parenthood, "Abortion ends a pregnancy. Emergency contraception pills cannot end a pregnancy." This is a lie, plain and simple, a lie that is based on PP's inaccurate definition of pregnancy as beginning at "implantation," not at fertilization when a human being is first created.

One of the ways "emergency contraception" works (as with all hormonal contraceptives) is by making the lining of the uterus inhospitable to the pre-born child so that at 5-7 days of age the child cannot implant and starves to death. According to Pharmacists for Life, an American Life League associate group, "Numerous studies support the notion that the high dose, high powered steroid(s) found in EC are abortifacient 75 to 89% of the time."

Please visit our web site for a more detailed explanation on how "emergency contraception" works.

Not only does Planned Parenthood endorse, promote and sell this dangerous drug, but it has recently begun a campaign to force pharmacists and doctors to dispense EC as well. The job of pharmacists and doctors is to give treatments that will best heal their patients with the least amount of adverse side effects. In the case of "emergency contraception," PP seeks to force them to dispense a drug that may kill a pre-born child, hurt a young mother, and give absolutely no medical benefit and treat no disease.

Please contact your local pharmacy and let them know that you support their professional and moral rights to protect the safety of their patients by refusing to dispense these dangerous drugs.

High school student's role vital in saving a baby from Planned Parenthood

We received the following note from Ed Szymkowiak, previous member of our staff and continued opponent of Planned Parenthood:

On Saturday, March 10, a student from Mariamante Academy in Fredericksburg, Virginia saved a baby's life in Washington D.C. As one of his teachers and some of his school mates looked on, Piero, who speaks fluent Spanish, approached a Spanish-speaking couple outside the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic on 16th St. and engaged them in conversation in an attempt to persuade them to keep the baby they were coming abort. The Mariamante group was with a group of other pro-lifers, mostly from St. Patrick's parish in Spotsylvania, Virginia. They had started the day with Mass at St. Matthew's Cathedral in D.C. and then proceeded to the abortion mill where they prayed the rosary. Some of the women who were with the group are experienced sidewalk counselors. Also on the scene was a Dominican in his white habit, Brother Jim, and students from Christendom College and Catholic University, but only Piero was fluent in Spanish.

Piero was praying the rosary with the other pro-lifers when the young couple pulled next to the curb. Although this was Piero's first time praying at an abortion clinic, he courageously and politely approached the couple and began to speak to them as well as translate for sidewalk counselors. Piero was especially effective with the young father. It soon became apparent to the handful of pro-abortion clinic escorts at the scene that their feeble attempts to converse in Spanish with the couple were being effectively negated by Piero, so they sent word into the clinic and a young Spanish-speaking woman in scrubs came out. As the drama unfolded, prayer support was being sustained by the other pro-lifers as they continued praying the rosary.

With Brother Jim at his side, Piero continued to advocate for the child's life, his Spanish apparently superior to that of the abortion worker. Again, word went into the clinic, and an older Spanish-speaking woman came out. The two Spanish-speaking pro-aborts pressed the couple, and despite Piero's efforts, the couple was led into clinic. As they walked past banners of our Lady of Guadalupe, the Divine Mercy image of Jesus, and crosses hanging from rosaries, they were offered pamphlets showing fetal development. One could see the anguish in the young father's eyes. Piero quietly resumed his place within the rosary circle and continued to pray. He had done his best, but it looked like the couple had decided to have the abortion. The high hopes of the pro-lifers were dampened, but they continued to pray.

They had done as much as they could, and now needed to just humbly trust that God would do the rest. Some time passed, but not enough to perform an abortion. Then the couple emerged. Piero spoke with them again, gave them some literature which had the phone number of a pro-life clinic equipped to help Spanish-speaking patients. They had decided not to have an abortion. Yes, others entered the clinic that day, and sadly, innocent lives were probably ended. However, there was at least one life that was spared, no doubt due to the prayers of the pro-lifers and especially the effort of one Mariamante student who allowed God to work through him. Ask any of the pro-lifers who were there, and they will likely agree that the hours spent praying are all worthwhile, especially when a life is saved.

We applaud all of the people who were present to give a life saving witness in front of Planned Parenthood last Saturday and pray that God may continue to abundantly bless them and their work. We hope that this news may encourage you to go and spend at least an hour every week peacefully praying and counseling in front of the local Planned Parenthood. We especially want to emphasize to college and high school students the importance that they can make in the lives of children and their parents as was so evident in the valiant work of Piero.
