Parallel between Planned Parenthood and evil
An interesting scenario has played out in Kansas over the last few years. The Kansas attorney general, Phill Kline, had become concerned about allegations that Planned Parenthood protected child predators, so he launched an investigation into the organization's activities. He sought to review PP's medical records to determine if any crime had been committed.
Planned Parenthood filed lawsuits and stalled the investigation, but eventually Kline prevailed and got the records. While he was reviewing the records, he was also running for reelection. Paul Morrison, Kline's opponent, appeared to have been hand picked by abortion supporters. Morrison won the election, and then issued a statement saying he found no wrongdoing at Planned Parenthood, even though Kline said he believed there were violations of law.
Now, one year later, Morrison has just been forced to resign his attorney general post after admitting he had a sexual affair with a staff member. To those of us who work daily against the Planned Parenthood philosophy, that one of its supporters would get in trouble over sex is not surprising.
Living and supporting the lifestyle that Planned Parenthood promotes can lead many into trouble. Enabling sexual relationships outside of marriage is part of Planned Parenthood's main agenda.
Planned Parenthood is encouraging people young and old to make decisions based on desires of the flesh. Giving into temptation and ignoring the sense of guilt is ok according to Planned Parenthood. Never mind that you are living in sin.
For those who listen to PP and believe these philosophies, a life full of remorse and regret may follow; but for some it could even bring a lawsuit.
Morrison resigned due to allegations over a sex scandal in which he allegedly "prodded" a woman during their affair to "reveal insider information regarding former AG Phill Kline's investigation into the Johnson County Planned Parenthood business for alleged abortion law violations."
We reported to you in October that Kline, in his new job as a county district attorney, charged Planned Parenthood of Overland Park, Kansas, with 107 criminal counts. Of these, 29 are charges of performing unlawful late-term abortions.
Linda Carter, the woman who has filed charges against Morrison, stated that Morrison continually tried to obtain sensitive information from her about Kline's activities regarding Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri.
As Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue said, "This is not just about sex and abortion; this is about corruption manifested in the perverted use of sex and power for political advantage."
Getting involved with Planned Parenthood and its philosophies can lead anyone into sin.
Planned Parenthood wishes for peace?
On Friday, December 14 Planned Parenthood Federation of America's president, Cecile Richards sent out an e-mail to her Planned Parenthood supporters with the heading, "Choice on earth...good will to all."
Richards wrote, "As I reflect upon the past year and consider the next, I can't help but feel a sense of good will. Good will toward the women, men, and families that we serve. Good will toward you, my Planned Parenthood family. And good, determined will to accomplish the work that lies ahead in the new year."
Planned Parenthood continues to advertise this word "choice" and uses a picture of the earth on the bottom of the e-mail with the quote, "From all of us at Planned Parenthood, we wish you a peaceful holiday season."
How much more twisted can Planned Parenthood become? Planned Parenthood is wishing its supporters a "peaceful holiday season"? Planned Parenthood is wishing peace when it is killing the most innocent in the womb.

Planned Parenthood receives $85,000 grant
Planned Parenthood of South Central New York has received an $85,000 grant from the Conrad and Virginia Klee Foundation.
Planned Parenthood plans to use the money to help renovate the facility it will move into at 117 Hawley St., Binghamton, New York by the beginning of February. The current address of the Binghamton PP clinic is 168 Walter St.
We encourage all pro-lifers to be a prayerful witness in front of this new PP clinic and help prevent the move into this new facility.
PP worker harasses woman at bus stop
The following is from an e-mail that we received from a young woman who was harassed by a Planned Parenthood employee while she was waiting at a bus stop in Pennsylvania.
My name is Samantha and I am 20 years old. I work full time in downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. I had an interesting conversation with someone who worked for Planned Parenthood the other day and I felt like sharing.I was at my bus stop about 4 pm waiting for my bus to go home when someone who worked for Planned Parenthood came up to me and asked if I would like to make a donation to help support Planned Parenthood's efforts.
Now, knowing what I know about PP and having been pro-life since I first learned what abortion was, I POLITELY declined and told her that I was sorry but I did not support PP. This lady became irate. She asked what kind of person I was that did not support an organization that was committed to helping women and young girls. Once again, I politely told her that I was pro-life and I could not and would not support an organization that not only supports, but provides, abortions. She then told me that I had no clue what I was talking about and that I need to get my facts straight before I assumed things and get myself into trouble. It was at that point that I felt threatened, excused myself, and walked away to another bus stop.
I was appalled and at one point, even frightened for my safety. It was my first face to face with someone from PP and I hope to never have to go through that again.
Aside from the totally inappropriate actions of its employee, this is the first we have heard of Planned Parenthood being so desperate for money that it is having its employees take up collections at bus stops! If you witness any similar fundraising by PP in your town, we would like to hear about it. E-mail us the details at stopp@all.org.
Letter to the editor: Abortion damages all types of relationships
The following is a letter to the editor from Cristina Trotochaud in Oakdale, Connecticut. It was published in the The Day in New London, Connecticut on December 8.
The writer of the letter titled "Planned Parenthood offers needed support," published Dec. 3, quoted the Bible's "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Speaking up is not about judgment or casting stones, it is about love. God alone has the right to judge men's hearts. It is important to know that a number of participants and organizers of the 40-days-for-life prayer vigil are post-abortive women. They are there, although it is painful for them, to pray that others don't go down the same path. They are inspirations to all of us in living the greatest directive in the Bible: "Love one another as I have loved you."
Loving someone includes helping him or her, wanting the best for the person and trying to preserve that individual from harm. While there are great resources available for post-abortive women and men to help them heal, such as Rachel's Vineyard, which can be reached at 877-HOPE-4-ME, and Project Rachel, which can be reached at 800-554-5173, it is more loving to try to keep the harm from occurring in the first place.
In breaking the sixth commandment of "thou shalt not kill," abortion kills the baby, damages relationships with God and causes great physical and emotional pain to the parents. God heals and forgives, but the parents will think about their unborn child for the rest of their lives.
Although all involved in abortion may be strangers, many of us believe they are our brothers and sisters in Christ. When we exercise our First Amendment right by letters to the editor or keeping prayerful vigil, we hope to help them all - the babies, the parents and the abortion providers - because we love them.
PP clinic in Alabama no longer performing surgical or medical abortions
We have learned that Planned Parenthood in Huntsville, Alabama is no longer offering surgical or medical abortions. Thanks to the hard work of pro-lifers in Alabama, and with God's help, we are happy to pass along the following e-mail:
I am writing to let you know that the Planned Parenthood in Huntsville, Alabama that we have been protesting has now stopped performing abortions. They are still open, but they are no longer performing any type of abortion. They have removed their license from the health department and are finished with that part! Thank you for your help! What a great Christmas present!
Protesting works! The peaceful protests in Huntsville did not close down the clinic (yet), but it did affect the business enough that they no longer do medical or surgical abortions. We encourage every one of our readers to find the nearest Planned Parenthood clinic and establish a presence outside it at least once a week. To find the clinic nearest to you, visit our map room.
The staff of the Wednesday STOPP Report wishes all of you a very merry and blessed Christmas. Watch for our special Christmas edition of the WSR next Wednesday, Dec. 26.
